I view design as a form of balance between functional, aesthetic, and identity. For me, a space should not only look good but also have meaning, proportion, and a natural connection with the person inhabiting it.
The Brâncuși Universe is one of the most personal directions I have created so far — a proposal through which I bring Romanian cultural values to the forefront, reinterpreted in a contemporary setting.
I wanted to show that cultural heritage does not belong only to the past but can become part of today's spaces, with discretion, elegance, and relevance, without aesthetic compromise and without decorative excess.

The inspiration
The shape that reminds
Brâncuși did not sculpt objects. He sculpted essences—the endlessly rising column, the bird that is pure movement, the gate that is a pure embrace, the table that is pure stillness. Each work reduces form to what truly matters: a clear gesture, a simple idea, a material that speaks.
The Brâncuși Universe collection starts from this principle. Each of the four fronts translates a Brâncuși gesture into the language of milling: the bisected circle of the Gate of the Kiss, the rhombic module of the Endless Column, the calm arc of the Table of Silence, the open flight of the Maiastra. Not decorations—gestures.
Designed for BESTÅ chests of drawers, these are fronts intended for spaces where you linger, not just those you pass through. A meaningful surface, at the heart of the home.
